Projects

There are a number of sub-projects that form part of the Open Lighting Project:

Open Lighting Architecture
72px_OLA-LogoThe Open Lighting Architecture (OLA) provides a flexible way to interconnect different lighting equipment, allowing you to spend less time dealing with low-level communication issues and more time designing the show. OLA supports many different DMX-over-Ethernet protocols and more than 20 different USB devices.

Open Lighting Embedded
Open Lighting Embedded (OLE) is a DMX512 / RDM framework for PIC32 microprocessors. Hardware running OLE can be used as an RDM Responder or as a USB DMX/RDM Controller. We’ve teamed up with Stellascapes who are producing the first OLE based hardware.

RDM Responder Tests
72px_dmx-rdmRecognizing a need within the industry, we’ve created a suite of RDM Responder tests along with software tools that make developing RDM devices easier. If you’re developing RDM devices or looking to purchase new RDM enabled gear, these tools will make your life much easier.

libartnet
